Async Assert.Throws for MSTest
In previous versions of LINQ to Twitter, I used XUnit, which has a nice Assert.Throws method that I used a lot. When I started the PCL version of LINQ to Twitter, I started using MSTest and missed Assert.Throws right away. Searching around, I found Bradley Braithwaite’s excellent blog post, Asserting Exceptions in MSTest with Assert.Throws(). LINQ to Twitter Runs Xamarin.Android
Yesterday, Microsoft launched Visual Studio 2013 (VS2013), their newest version of their Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Along with this launch was several announcements that included a partnership with Xamarin and lifting of Portable Class Library (PCL) and .NET NuGet library licensing restrictions.
