VPC and Vista

Simple advice - don't do it! At this point in time Vista appears to be incompatible with VPC. It installed after a lot of effort but only ran in 4 bit screen colour - baaad and very, very, slowly!

Installing Visual Studio on Windows Vista

Just had an entertaining time trying to install Visual #Studio 2005 beta 2 onto Vista - you must  install MSXML 6 before starting the process. Also you will get errors from Compact framework and other Mobile stuff.

Once up and running all is a lot of fun!

XP replacement gets a name!
After a nunmber of 'Longhorn' confusing years the replacement for Windows XP has been given a name: Windows Vista! Microsoft felt the new version of Windows "deserved a name that was more representative of what it specifically brings to customers." Simon not the last to know! (Updated)
Simon said 'I may be the last person to realize this, but OneNote has an awesome screen clipping function. With the OneNote Quick Launch running in the background, simply hit {Windows Key} and S. Select the screen region you want and click to paste into OneNote. You even get the title of the window and the date. Nice.' No you are not but yes it is very cool!!! Update: For this to happen you must have installed SP1 for Office ......
