Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.

Charlotte Code Camp was a blast!!

I met some great people and had a terrific time. My GDI+ talk went very well and I got some great feedback for next time. (Next time, by the way, is Atlanta, GA on May 14th)

The Enterprise Developers Guild also presented me with a very cool framed certificate for speaking at CodeCamp. They were a huge part of making the entire event happen, and we could not have done it without them.

The other huge part of the event was the support we got from Microsoft. Not only did they provide us a place to have Code Camp, but they also provided us with a budget for food and giveaways. You would be surprised how much one of these all day free events actually costs to produce. Major kudos to Microsoft and especially Doug Turnure for this one!

We had about 240ish people there, and everybody seemed to really get something out of it. I sat in on all four tracks at one point or another throughout the day, and everyone did a great job.

The big prize of the day was an XBox (and shame on you to the guy that won it... stuffing the ballot box! We've got your name buddy. Tsk tsk.)

Anyway, it was great day, with no problems or technical issues. See you in Atlanta in a couple weeks.
