Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.
It's a short story with a crappy ending (so far)

Man buys super special Halo 3 Edition Zune.
Zune Breaks.
Man sends in super special Halo 3 Edition Zune for repair.
Man receives fixed (though beat up) plain old Zune, NOT super special Halo 3 Edition Zune.
Man contacts Zune support.
Zune supports tells man "Too Bad, So Sad."
Man pissed, Man blogs.

Show him some support at his blog:  http://geekswithblogs.net/Fastek/archive/2007/12/03/117316.aspx
And if you work for Microsoft, make his day (and his story) have a happy ending.

I believe he's got two Zunes, and the one returned is a Halo one (or at least thats how I read the story).

He mailed in a collectors edition Halo 3 Zune for service, and received a generic, somewhat beatup, ordinary Zune in return.

That's not acceptable.

Actually, he mailed in a Halo 3 Zune, and got a beat up Halo 3 Zune in return....

Still not acceptable, but at least they did send the right Zune type....

um... "Tyler" if you're going to be a jackass, have the testicular fortitude to use your real name... otherwise you run the risk of being disregarded as just another troll.

I agree and I apologize. I was out of line. I had just discovered that my own zune was having problems, and I was not in the best of dispositions.

Still, I realize that's no excuse. I really was just trolling. Once again, I apologize.
