Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.
Last three days have been pretty decent. My good year continues...

Wednesday (1/7/09) was "free chili day" at work, which was a nice surprise. I also made a lot of progress on my project at the client.

Thursday (1/8/09) was also good, with lots being accomplished. I ended up leaving early (Thursday evening instead of Friday morning) to avoid a snowstorm that was headed my way. The roads weren't bad yet, though visibility was poor. I finished Book 8 of Legacy of the Force and started Book 9. (audiobook)

When I got home, I had some more packages waiting for me, including a few copies of the Jan/Feb issue of CoDe Magazine (in which I have two articles this time.)

Friday (1/9/09) started out a little bumpy, with some VPN issues but we got those sorted out pretty quick. The rest of today went by quickly since I was pretty busy the whole time. As it turns out, the storm didn't make it to Minneapolis, but it looks like Chicago took a beating.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend and the upcoming week. Jason Olson is flying in to MSP tomorrow and we have some gaming scheduled for Sunday (Twilight Imperium), followed by the Twin Cities Developers Guild (featuring Jason Olson) on Monday Night, the MSDN Dev Con on Tuesday, the Twin Cities Languages User Group (featuring Jason Olson) on Wednesday, the Twin Cities XNA User Group (featuring Jason Olson) on Thursday and (Mostly) Magenic Poker Night at my house on Friday. Jason flies back home on Saturday and then I have the Magenic Holiday Party Saturday night. I guess I'll sleep all day Sunday and then it's back to South Dakota on Monday.
