Overall, not bad. This last season didn't start well for me, and I almost considered dropping it from my TiVo... but I stuck with it, and it did get better. The last 4 episodes were actually quite good, IMO.

The FINAL final episode though, well... I liked the ending even if it was a bit predictable. Overall, I though it was a bit too long. I would have been happier with about 90 minutes instead of two hours. Seemed like too much filler, I dunno.

The final disposition of Starbuck was interesting. Pretty much saw that coming too although I wasn't sure exactly how they would explain it. (Trying not to reveal too much for those who haven't watched it yet but plan to.)

I was a little confused by the thing with Caprica and Gaius. Does that imply he was a Cylon? I dunno... it wasn't clear.

The thing with Earth was interesting, and ties in nicely to various creation myths.

Setting the one group free to go find their own destiny was a surprise, probably not something I would have done in the same situation. I did like what they did with the ships though.

Finally, the promo for BSG: The Plan looked kinda cool. For those of you that missed it, it appears to be the early events of BSG as told from the Cylon perspective. There was also another show, maybe a prequel(?) that features Eric Stolz that looked interesting.

They also showed a teaser for the new Stargate show but it didn't show enough to really get my interest, other than being a Stargate show of course.

Your thoughts?

They didn't explain anything about Starbuck. She just disappeared. Obviously, I was supposed to read something into that; but I'm not the literary kind. That was probably my biggest disappointment in the finale. I thought the rest of it was quite good, though.
