Yahoo! Mail Upgrades Their Offering - WAY COOL!
I have been using Yahoo! Mail since 1995 (same email address) and I have seen it change quite a bit over time. I like it and I even pay the 20 dollars a month to get the premium account. Today I logged in and got an option to try out the Yahoo! Mail Beta: It is heavily using Ajax capabilities to load emails and populate parts of the application. Windows Live Offers Bird-Eye Views
Windows Live is now offering some bird-eye views of some locations on the planet. Really, the only bird-eye views available are of some major destinations like Disneyland or the Empire State Building or something. Here is a shot of Niagara Falls: Because of this, you will find that it is impressive, but not that useful. I am not sure why this is presented except to get people to the site to check out the other maps. I think it would take a long time to get these bird eye views of the rest of America. ......

Microsoft's Public UDDI Registry Is Shutting Down
I just got an email from Microsoft stating that their public UDDI registry is shutting down. Interesting. It really wasn't ever useful as much of the data in it was bogus data. It is good that it is shutting down for this reason. UDDI is better used within the enterprise. Want to go to outer-space for free?
Well, not exactly you, but NASA is allowing for us common folk to send our name into outer space aboard the spacecraft Dawn which is heading to the asteroid belt.
